Breakthrough T1D’s fiscal year is coming to a close, which also means the end of Breakthrough T1D Play’s seventh (!) fundraising season. Time flies!
Breakthrough T1D Play raised more than $500K in the past year, and we literally couldn’t have done it without our community. That money will make a huge difference in the quest for T1D cures.
Our team will be lying low for the summer (there may or may not be beaches and margaritas involved), but we’ll be back in September with new Season 8 fundraising prizes and new ways you can support Breakthrough T1D’s mission through our mutual love of games.

Blue Heart Awards — June 25 on Twitch
Every year at the end of June, we recognize community members who have gone above and beyond during the past fundraising season during a little ceremony we call the Blue Heart Awards.
Join us on Twitch this Thursday as we honor this year’s winners, recap Breakthrough T1D’s biggest wins during this fiscal year, and unveil a sneak peek of next season’s T-shirt design created by the illustrious SpicedEliastrations.
Each winner will receive a real-life trophy generously 3D printed by community member Toonafeesh. (Check out how they’re made!)
The ceremony starts at 1:00pm PDT / 4:00pm EDT / 9:00pm BST on June 25. We’ll do swag giveaways too, so don’t miss your last chance to nab our newly retired Season 7 pizes.
Two Game Bundles Supporting Breakthrough T1D
Year after year, Humble Bundles have been an incredible fundraising source for Breakthrough T1D Play. This year we were lucky enough to have twelve of them; five software bundles and seven game bundles.
We have two bundles running right now, one with Humble and one with Green Man Gaming, a UK-based storefront that’s been around since 2010 and recently started doing charity bundles. We’re thrilled to be one of the first nonprofits they’ve partnered with.
