Help us celebrate National Diabetes Awareness Month (NDAM) by joining our eighth annual flagship fundraiser, Game Over, T1D!
This November, we need your help to raise awareness and funds in support of the 9.5M people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) worldwide.

Team Up
Join the Pokéthon
Our friends from Colosseum are hosting Pokéthon from November 15–22. Creators can join the Trainers Unite team under the Colosseum campaign to fundraise for Breakthrough T1D.
At the end of the week, Colosseum will host the main event featuring Pokémon creators taking on Pokémon challenges and chaos. Their goal: bring together as many Pokémon creators as possible and raise $25K for type 1 diabetes research.

Game Over, T1D! Gauntlet
The Game Over, T1D! Gauntlet is a collection of challenges to complete while fundraising all November!
These challenges are meant to promote T1D advocacy and education while offering new, exciting ways for to raise money. Earn points per challenge completed. The top 3 creators will earn an exclusive 2026 Game Over, T1D! Gauntlet trophy!

Level One: A Diabetes Game – Stream Level One — a mobile game created by a T1D dad and Breakthrough T1D Play advisor — which teaches how to manage T1D. Discuss how it relates to your own lived experience and how this game could be useful for those newly diagnosed (and people who love them).

Roblox – Stream Breakthrough T1D World on Roblox. You can explore any aspect of the world, including the Charity Walk Simulator. Discuss how the game relates to your own experiences with type 1 diabetes, Breakthrough T1D, and Breakthrough T1D Walks.

Archipelago – During a charity stream, use this cross-game modification system to collaborate with other fundraisers. Archipelago randomizes different games to build one unified multiplayer game — it's a great way to play with others when the games you want to play together don't overlap! Items from one game may be present in another, requiring your fellow players to find items you need in their games to help you complete yours. Get started with Archipelago here.

Crowd Control – Let your viewers interact with your gameplay LIVE while raising money for Breakthrough T1D! Crowd Control allows viewers to donate and enable a large variety of in-game effects including flipping your game controls, changing the size of your character, covering your game screen, instantly killing your character, and many many more! Pokéthon
- +25 points to join the Trainers Unite team on Tiltify and host a Pokémon charity stream November 15–22
- +25 points to record a short video sharing your reasons for fundraising for Breakthrough T1D. This video will be edited and used for educational purposes during various fundraising events. Upload video to Google Drive by November 1st.
Creative Challenges

Art Challenge – Host an art stream where viewers can donate to give an art prompt for you to create on stream. Art could be drawn on paper, painted, MS Paint, clay, etc. You do not need to be an artist for this one. 😊

Cooking Challenge – Host a fundraising cooking stream. It could be tonight’s dinner, a special baked good, meal prep for the week, or challenge where donors can impact what you cook. Discuss how different foods can affect someone with type 1 diabetes. Once cooking is completed, talk about how you would bolus for this dish, either for yourself or someone else living with T1D.

Just Chatting Stream – Host a chat about how type 1 diabetes affects you. This stream can be done in a variety of ways – “Get Ready With Me” style, open table chatting with others in the community, or interviewing someone in your life who is affected by type 1 diabetes.

- +5 points for a post using Canva template (provided in Discord) that shares your upcoming Game Over, T1D! stream plans and tags Breakthrough T1D Play.
